SUMMARY:Imber Run
DESCRIPTION:This is a new idea to replace our usual New Year’s Day Run. We will visit the ‘Ghost Village’ of Imber which was taken over by the army for WW2 and never given back! It’s only open a few times a year for visits to the church etc. \nMonday 29th December Imber Ghost Ride.  Riders assemble 10.00 for 11.00am start. at The George Inn Longbridge Deverill BA12 7DG approx 15 mile road ride to start of access onto Salisbury Plain. We ride the track down to Imber where we can park and look around. The church should be open where information and drinks are provided by the ladies of the parish. We return on the track back to the A360 to pick up the return route to the finish or make your own way home if you wish. We finish the ride at Lakeside Garden Centre Crockerton BA12 8AP where there is a cafe that’s open. The ride at this time of year is weather dependent so please check the website if in doubt.

DESCRIPTION:Note: this run is on Good Friday \nPrevious year’s Easter Bunny helpers have found something better to do this year!  I know\, it’s outrageous but it’s completely beyond my control. As a result\, this run has a new start location\, so ignore what’s shown in the printed programme card. \nThe 48 mile run starts at 11am at Lo’s Coffee Shop in Pimperne and finishes at Aunt Fanny’s Farm Shop nr. Wimborne.  There is no mid-point stop and you’ll need to find your own way home from Aunt Fanny’s.   Suitable for all bikes. \nAs in previous years\, hot X buns\, coffee\, tea etc will be available at Lo’s but you’ll have to pay for anything in the normal way. 🙂 \nGPX file for SatNav users:\nBy downloading and using this GPX file on the run\, you agree to also picking up a Route Sheet that contains pertinent safety information on this run. DESCRIPTION:Phil has waded through loads of red tape and has eventually managed to organise our Blandford Run from where it has traditionally started from – The Corn Exchange.
