DESCRIPTION:Our scheduled Speaker\, John Young\, has had to cancel at short notice due to a family member’s serious illness\, so he obviously cannot be with us. It’s a great shame as he was greatly looking forward to it and\, no doubt\, we will ask him to come on some future date. \nSo we’re going to show some films of past Section Runs instead. Over the last few months\, I’ve digitized a large 16mm ciné film found in our Section shed plus several VHS tapes provided by various members.  On this Club Night\, we’ll start off with: \nWeymouth Run 1982 (9 mins)\nBorder Run 1982 (11 mins)\nComfort/ drink break\nRun of the Mills 1997 (11 mins)\nBob Foster Run 1989 (20 mins) \nThe first two are good quality but only have background music. Rod Hann\, who has seen the films\, has kindly agreed to identify participants from over 37 years ago. All very informal…!
