DESCRIPTION:Our scheduled Speaker\, John Young\, has had to cancel at short notice due to a family member’s serious illness\, so he obviously cannot be with us. It’s a great shame as he was greatly looking forward to it and\, no doubt\, we will ask him to come on some future date. \nSo we’re going to show some films of past Section Runs instead. Over the last few months\, I’ve digitized a large 16mm ciné film found in our Section shed plus several VHS tapes provided by various members.  On this Club Night\, we’ll start off with: \nWeymouth Run 1982 (9 mins)\nBorder Run 1982 (11 mins)\nComfort/ drink break\nRun of the Mills 1997 (11 mins)\nBob Foster Run 1989 (20 mins) \nThe first two are good quality but only have background music. Rod Hann\, who has seen the films\, has kindly agreed to identify participants from over 37 years ago. All very informal…!

DESCRIPTION:The run starts and finishes at Henstridge Golf and Leisure. \nCome and have some breakfast before the run!  Henstridge Golf and Leisure will be serving breakfast between 9am and the start of the run at 11am.  Bacon rolls to full English! \nIf you intend to take part and would like some breakfast\, or if you’re coming just for the breakfast\, can you please let Bernard Jones know as we need to get a rough idea of numbers. \nThere will be no organised lunch at the end of the run but there is a coffee / tea / comfort stop during the run.
