DESCRIPTION:This is a ride-in night\, so choose whichever of the two groups below is nearest to you and be there by 6:15pm.  Each group leader will then do a 45 minute run and arrive at the Halsey Arms for 7pm. \nOnce at the Halsey Arms\, please support the pub by buying a pint and some food from their excellent menu. \n  \n\nBlandford Area Group (Ken Druce): Meet in the car park at the top of Bulbarrow Hill 6:15pm.\nShaftesbury Area Group (Andrew Rae): Meet at the Shaftesbury Town Hall 6:15pm.\n\nIf you cannot ride\, then just turn up at the pub at 7pm.

SUMMARY:Gillingham In Gear
DESCRIPTION:Gillingham in Gear is happening this year on the 11 June at the Red Lion in Gillingham. Dorset Section will have a stand at the show to\, hopefully\, encourage new members to try out the VMCC. \nHowever\, we need volunteers to help man the stand and also bikes for display. Bikes do not have to be concours condition\, but interesting\, and more importantly well used in club events. You can either leave your bike on the stand all day or if you prefer ride in\, put the bike on the stand for a few hours then ride home. The show starts at 09.00 and finishes around 4.00. \nAndy Grew is co-ordinating our stand and would like to know how many members are interested in helping and/or displaying. DESCRIPTION:The B&NF Section have their “Wessex Wonder” on this day and they are stopping at Kings Stag Coffee House for a snack & drink. \nIf you cannot make our own Blue Haze Run\, which is also on this day\, but fancy an informal ride\, then why not come along to King Stag and do a few miles with the B&NF Section?   They’re using the dr0p off system\, so do however many miles you want before peeling off from the run after informing the back marker (tail-end Charlie). \nTheir arrival at Kings Stag is approximate\, but get there for 12:30 and you should be fine. \n

SUMMARY:Wessex V & V Section : On the Beaded Edge Run
DESCRIPTION:The Dorset Section has no run planned for Sunday 26th of June so it is a good opportunity to join the Wessex Veteran & Vintage Section for its ‘On the Beaded Edge Run’\, from the Shillingstone Station. If you have a pre-1931 bike bring it along and enjoy the ride. If not why not come along to see the bikes before departure and to wave them away. It is also a good opportunity to inspect the ongoing work to bring the station and track back into use. \nBikes will be arriving at the station from 10.00 for an 11.00 departure. The run is of approximately 42 miles and includes several steep hills so is unlikely to be suitable for veteran machines\, unless the rider is prepared to provide LPA. A coffee stop is planned at the 17th Century Crown Inn at Alvediston. It is expected that the bikes will be returning to the station from about 12.30. \nContact Peter Miller on 01258 721356 for any further information.
