A bit of deja-vu another Saturday, lovely weather and meeting at Lo’s Cafe. But the run was very different with a scenic tour around the New Forest taking in one of the WW2 airfields, Stoney Cross, Dave was definately ‘on message’ as we had a talk on this very subject at our club meeting in February.
The New Forest was looking very beautiful with the gorse in full bloom together with bluebells making a good show. We had a very pleasant lunch at The Red Shoot before heading back to Lo’s.
We had 19 riders sign on together with 2 pillions. The above photo shows a trio of Triumph twins, T110’s I think, all looking very smart.
A very pleasant day out so many thanks to Dave B for organising it and showing us new roads and scenery.
A break from the runs next weekend, but we have a new event on Sunday 18 May, 10.00 at the Top O’ Town Car Park, Dorchester where Ray will take us to the sea side! Ice Creams all round.
