Each year, the weather is slowly getting better for this run! In 2024, we abandoned the run and it turned into a social event, in 2025 it was wet, and this year, it threatened rain but didn’t, so next year we might see some sun.
A good turnout at Lo’s Café in Pimperne with both riders and those along for a coffee and chinwag. We had 19 signing on and another 3 who arrived too late to sign-on but took part in the run — maybe it’s worth mentioning here that when we advertise a run start of 11 a.m. (for example), that is when we depart , so you do usually need to get to the start at least 30 mins before the published time to allow for signing-on etc
I’ve already booked the Easter Bunnies for next year, so hopefully they won’t go AWOL again like they did this year and we can then return to our normal start location at Okeford Fitzpaine Recreation Ground.
Next run is tomorrow! The Blandford Run that starts at the Blandford Corn Exchange once again — well done to Phil Allen for managing to work with the Council to bring this run back to its original home.
