CANCELLED : Club Night – AGM And Two Speakers

Sorry, but due to COVID, we’ve had to suddenly cancel this meeting at short notice.
Our AGM will now take place on Wednesday 13th October.
Please note: the meeting will start promptly at 7pm; get there earlier to order a drink etc…
From 7pm to approx 7:45 we will be holding our Annual General Meeting (AGM), our first in two years so please come along. This is your chance to tell your Committee what we’re doing right and what needs improving, anything goes really (too many runs, too few runs, too many emails, etc etc). It is also an opportunity for you to vote on the received nominations for next year’s Committee. Even better, please consider standing for one of the Committee positions, we’d love to have new and/or younger members on the Committee (all positions are up for grabs!). If being on the Committee is not for you, how about organising a run instead? We’ve identified a couple of runs in our proposed 2022 calendar that would make good runs for a newbie to organise and you’ll get plenty of help from our existing pool of run organisers. We’d like your help! Take a look at the Nomination form here…and then fill it in and return to secretary@dorsetvmcc.co.uk by the close of business on Monday 4th October. (if you don’t like forms, just email your nominations or offers of help)

From 7:45pm to 8:00pm we have a break for drinks, pizza slices and bathroom visits.

From 8:00pm to approx 9:30pm, Mike Larcombe (our Area Representative) and Steve Allen (Vice Chairman and son of Titch Allen) will talk about their respective views of where the VMCC is today and their vision for the future. There will be a Question and Answer session that will be chaired by our Section Chairman, Paul Miles. If you already have question(s) that you’d like to put to either Mike or Steve, please email them before the meeting to secretary@dorsetvmcc.co.uk and Paul Miles will collate similar questions.
