Blandford Run

The Blandford Run takes place on Sunday 10th April and will commence as in recent years, before covid caused disruption, from the Corn Exchange in the Market Place at Blandford Forum.

The run starts at 11am and tea or coffee and biscuits will be available from approximately 10am within the shambles area of the Corn Exchange.
Dorset Council has recently introduced charges on Sundays for all car parks under their management, including the Blandford Market Place. Arrangements have been made for the bikes to be parked without charge within the area defined by the bollards immediately in front of the Corn Exchange.

The outward route covers 44.9 miles to a lunch stop at the Witchampton and Critchel Club, where a roast dinner will be available for those requiring food for £9.95; a room behind the bar has been allocated for our use. Please tell the run organiser at the start of the run if you would like lunch so that the Club can be informed of likely numbers. The afternoon run, of 12 miles, takes us back to Blandford via an ice cream parlour for those wishing to purchase an ice cream or enjoy a walk along the river.
