The first summer run was again held in glorious weather, hope you’ve made the most of Spring as the forecast is not as good. I unfortunately had to miss this run but it looks to have been enjoyed by all. Many thanks to Rod and Carol for an excellent day. Rod’s report below.

Sunday 1st June saw the annual running of the Jeff Clew memorial Run from Leigh Village Hall.

29 entrants signed on for a scenic 50 miles round trip which included a lunch stop at the Rusty Duck Cafe at Stinsford near Dorchester.Sunny weather and dry roads helped to make an enjoyable ride with just two mechanical issues right at the end.

On return to Leigh the entrants, together with others present, enjoyed much tea and cakes. Present throughout was Alison, Jeff Clew’s daughter, who had travelled from Derbyshire to attend.  Alison and Section President Marie later presented the awards to the following:-
