Is there something magical about this run? Is Roger Gillard some kind of Sun King a.k.a. King Louis XIV? Last year, we had brilliant weather and yesterday, there wasn’t a cloud in sky. 🙂
The only disappointment for me was that a few of us from the Blandford area decided to get up early and stop off at Henstridge Golf and Leisure for a spot of breakfast before continuing to Sherborne for the start of the run. Only they weren’t serving breakfast, but we did manage to get some toast out of them. Moral of the story: phone Henstridge a few days before to let them know you’d like breakfast.
