Photos from the Last Of The Summer Wine Run 2018

A fantastic range of bikes turned up at Hinton St. Mary’s village hall for yesterday’s Last of the Summer Wine run. Bob Hoare tells me 36 people signed on.

The awards were:

• Classic Cup – Roland Brittain – BSA Super Rocket
• Foreign Shield – Mike Gardiner – Honda 250
• Girder Fork Tankard – Rodney Hann – Sunbeam Model 9
• Three wheeler Cup – Ian Clarke – Morgan Aero
• Rudge Plaque – Vernon Cox – Rudge Ulster

Many thanks to Bob for organising the run, and to all those helpers providing teas, coffees, biscuits and cakes — I can confirm that the carrot cake was particularly good!  And also to John Adams and Pete Dungey for manning the recovery vehicle + trailer, which I believe, was not needed.
