Well, amazing weather, great views and excellent fish and chips, the perfect evening!
11 bikes plus 4 pillions met at The Halsey Arms for a run of 20miles over Bulbarrow to Winterborne Whitechurch then over Okeford Hill to Okeford Fitzpaine. The roads were very quiet and the views amazing. Unfortunately because I had to get to the Okeford in reasonable time I didn’t have time to take many pictures, but I did manage a quick stop at Bulbarrow to take a snap of the two triples on the run – Laverda and Trident.
We were met at Okeford by more bikes and also a vintage car so we filled the available space quite well! Paul of The Pilgrim Fryer was slaving away in intense heat in his fish and chip van but managed to produce our food in good time.
I think this may be a regular fixture in our calendar!
