Report from Rod Hann on last Sunday’s (27th July) Jeff Clew Memorial Run:
The forecast of heavy rain showers was thankfully wrong for the Jeff Clew Memorial Run held on Sunday 30th July, 2017. 40 riders assembled at the Haynes International Motor Museum, Sparkford, before setting off on either the 40 or 70 mile routes around Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire. Suitable coffee stops had been arranged mid route. Returning to Sparkford all judging was done and the prizes were presented by Alison and Pippa (Jeff’s two daughters) before everyone made for home still in the dry. A good day was had by all. Sorry I missed it but had some family over from Australia. Looks like a good turnout and refreshing to see some girder fork bikes taking part 😉 Anyone else got any more photographs?
