Photos from the Bluebell Run 2022

The Bluebell Run is a firm favourite for most of us but, for the run organiser, it’s always a bit of a gamble.  The date for the run is decided in October of the previous year, so depending on the winter weather, the bluebells can sometimes be early, sometimes late.  But yesterday, we got it just right: sunny weather, perfectly formed bluebells and a good turnout — many thanks to the 28 riders and pillion who turned up.

The run started at Okeford Fitzpaine Recreation Ground and had a meandering 38 mile route to Hamish’s Farm Shop and Café just off the A37 south of Yeovil. The 19 mile return route was more direct.
