Today’s Bluebell Run turned out to be much better that we could have hoped for…  The rain forecasted never happened and it ended up being a warm and sunny afternoon.  And we had a decent turnout despite various other events taking place today (Stafford Show, Twin Dragon’s Run and a Marston Sunbeam Run).  But the bluebells did let us down. They were there but only just; we were too early.

First time that we’ve used the Round Chimney’s Farm as a coffee stop for one of our runs but they made us feel very welcome and I’m sure we’ll be back again soon.

Next event is the VMCC National Relay Rally on Sunday 30th.  Come and support the Section at Shillingstone Railway Trust.

The Start at Okeford Fitzpaine Recreation Ground

At Round Chimneys Farm and Café, Boys Hill
